Sign-ups open now; race airs August 25 at 9PM ET on Racecraft TV

Renewing a relationship from the previous two events of its type, Shenandoah Shine will serve as the primary sponsor of August 25’s Sierra Nevada 100, the second event of the 2022 #Yes2Motorsport Virtual Off-Road Team Endurocross (VORTEX) season. The 100-minute race, which will stream live at 9PM ET on Racecraft TV, will feature four classes of off-road vehicles battling on Nevada’s Wild West Motorsports Park, with mandatory driver swaps and pit stops throughout the event. VORTEX features two or three-driver teams competing in iRacing’s Pro 4, Pro 2 Lite, Subaru WRX STI, and Volkswagen Beetle Lite vehicles across a three-race season of 100-mintue events. The format was created last December with the Shenandoah Shine Group Therapy 100 at Crandon International Raceway, and the event was so successful that a three-race series was created for 2022. The season kicked off in April with the Shenandoah Shine Great Lakes 100 at Bark River International Raceway, and it will conclude with a return to Crandon for the 2^nd Annual Group Therapy 100 in December.

Participants in VORTEX events have included iRacing Off-Road Championship pros, major sim racing media members, and iRacing staff members. For the Sierra Nevada 100, Shenandoah Shine founder Garrett Delph and racing coordinator Joshua Abbe will team up to compete in a shared entry.

The Shenandoah Shine Sierra Nevada 100 will once again be broadcast on Racecraft TV, home to premier iRacing off-road events like the Virtual Off-Road Racing Series and Racecraft TV RX. A full event and broadcast schedule will be released in the coming days.
