The Sierra Nevada 100 presented by the California 300 is a multi-class, team-based endurance event held on the iRacing version of Wild West Motorsports Park. Scheduled for 100 minutes, the race is open to any iRacing member and is free of charge to enter. The race is the second of three rounds of the 2023 Virtual Off-Road Team Endurocross (VORTEX) season. The race will air live on Racecraft TV.

SIERRA NEVADA 100 EVENT INFORMATION

  • Session opens Thursday, August 31 at 8:35PM ET/5:30PM PT
  • Open practice (20 mins) + qualifying (10 mins). Track starts at 0% wear in each.
  • 100 minutes race. Track reset to 0%.
  • This is a team race with a mandatory two or three drivers per entry.
  • Drive fair share is ON.
  • Damage is OFF so that all entries may compete for as long as possible.
  • No cautions and no restarts.
  • Rolling start. All cars in each class will be gridded together.

    • Race: 100 minutes, team driving

  • Mega Rally Mini (7:30PM ET): Renault Clio, Volkswagen Jetta, Ray FF1600 (multi-class)
  • 10 minutes open qualifying, 10 minutes race
  • Solo driving, 50% wear track state, fixed setups
  • Drivers are encouraged to get out, get loose, and have fun!

ABOUT THE CALIFORNIA 300

The California 300 returns to Barstow, California October 4-8, 2023 and will feature a desert cleanup, multiple days of pre-running, a public poker run, an off-road festival, and three days of spectacular off-road racing. Over 300 race teams in 40+ classes go door to door on a fast, technical and punishing 75-mile race course, while the Mad Media produced livestream coverage is beamed to over 500,000 viewers worldwide. CALIFORNIA 300 DESERT CLEANUP – SEPTEMBER 30

The California 300 Desert Cleanup presented by Tread Lightly! cleans up waste dumped illegally in the Barstow Main area and promotes responsible public land use to improve California’s desert landscape. Last year we collected 10.2 tons of trash! Participants will receive an event t-shirt and automatically be entered into a massive raffle that includes thousands of dollars in donated off-road parts, accessories and swag from industry leading companies. CALIFORNIA 300 POKER RUN – OCTOBER 5

The Poker Run brings off-road enthusiasts, racers, team members and everyone in the Barstow area together for a fun event behind the wheel of their own vehicles on the California 300 race course.
