- Tomy Drissi and Keith Grant reunite for two-car Drissi Motorsports effort at Road Atlanta SpeedTour
- Drissi has four Trans Am podiums at Road Atlanta in the past six years, as well as a Petit Le Mans win and four podiums in his career
- Team has three-year active podium streak at Road Atlanta thanks to Grant’s third place finish last year
Drissi Motorsports continues its chase for the Trans Am presented by Pirelli championship this weekend at the Road Atlanta SpeedTour, the second event of the 2025 season. Team namesake and 2009 Trans Am champion Tomy Drissi will once again lead the two-car squad into battle in the flagship #8 Trench Shoring Company/Motul/Franklin Road Apparel Chevrolet Camaro, while Keith Grant will return to the seat of the #7 Chevrolet Camaro.
After an exciting drive in the Sebring season opener, which saw him carve his way through the TA field on the way to a fourth place finish, Drissi has his sights set on even better results at Road Atlanta. Over his career, he’s had plenty of success at the Braselton, GA circuit; in Trans Am alone, he has runner-up finishes in 2019, 2020, and 2022, and added a third place in 2023. In the Petit Le Mans, the IMSA season finale and one of the biggest American endurance races of the year, he boasts four podiums, including a Prototype Challenge win in 2017 in the final race for the class.

“Road Atlanta is one of my favorite races on the Trans Am schedule,” said Drissi. “I’ve had a lot of success here in my career, including some of my biggest wins, so it’s always a track I look forward to visiting. We showed at Sebring that we have the speed to fight for the front no matter what happens, and I’m ready to turn it into a spot on the podium on Saturday. Bring it on!”
Grant makes his second start of the season after joining Drissi in the team’s second car for the season opener at Sebring. He also served as Drissi’s teammate at Road Atlanta last year, where his third-place finish allowed the team to extend its active podium streak at the track to three years.
“I’m looking forward to getting back behind the wheel for Drissi Motorsports at Road Atlanta,” said Grant. “We had a great result here last year, and I have some unfinished business after the opener at Sebring. I’m ready to race for another podium this weekend!”
Drissi Motorsports’ track time at the Road Atlanta SpeedTour kicks off on Thursday with a pair of TA class test sessions at 11:50AM and 5:10PM. Friday will see the team practice at 12:05PM and qualify at 5:35PM, while Sunday’s race is set for 40 laps or 75 minutes and will go green at 12:45PM. Tickets to watch the team in action are available now at SpeedTour.net, while the action can be seen live on SPEED SPORT 1 and the Trans Am YouTube channel and live timing can be found at gotransam.com.
