Professional off-road racer Gray Leadbetter continues to make gains every weekend in her rookie Pro Lite season in Championship Off-Road, and last weekend’s visit to ERX Motor Park was no exception. The driver of the #28 On Track School/Yokohama/Pepper Palace/Ryan Beat Motorsports Chevrolet equaled her season-best finish on Saturday with a fourth place run, coming within just a few seconds of her first podium of the season.

Sunday’s race saw Leadbetter cross the line sixth, ensuring that she’d finish both races for the second straight event. The results allowed Leadbetter to keep her hold on fifth in the championship, with a 10-point advantage over two drivers tied for sixth and now sitting within seven points of fourth.

“We’re really beginning to find a rhythm as the season carries on,” said Leadbetter. “It was great to get back to ERX and see all the fans in Minnesota after missing them last year. We managed to stay out of trouble and score some decent points as we set our sights on Dirt City at the end of the month.”
