Preparations for the inaugural season of RallyX Americas will kick off on February 10-11 with an open test for prospective drivers for the 2026 campaign. Applications are open now for the test, which will take place in Florida at a venue to be announced in the coming weeks.
2026 marks the first year of RallyX Americas as the top-flight promoter for rallycross in North America. The season will feature championship doubleheaders at three esteemed venues: Crandon International Raceway on June 20-21, Eldora Speedway on June 27-28, and Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières on August 22-23 (provisional). Selected RallyX Americas participants will also be eligible for invitational events at Crandon on September 5-6 and the RallyX Global Final at Montalegre Circuit in Portugal on October 24-25.
Applicants for the RallyX Americas open test can choose from the FC5 cross car (150 hp), modern rallycross Supercar FC2 (550 hp), or 1,000 horsepower electric FC1. Drivers participating in the test will receive one ride with a professional driver, followed by two test runs of their own.
Testing fees are $750 for drivers looking to try the FC1, $500 for the FC2, and $300 for the FC5 cross car, with payment due upon registration acceptance. Applicants will be required to provide information on their current racing license and proof of medical insurance. Lunch is provided for the driver and one guest, with additional lunches available for purchase upon registration.
