That’s right—we’ve figured out how to do team rallycross with the FIA Cross Car. You and your teammate will split running a pair of heats before running a 20-lap feature with a mid-race bailout. You’ll also have not one, but five Jokers per race to contend with… use them wisely!

Cross Car World Trophy Rules

Each race will feature two heats (the second will feature a reverse grid) and one feature race. The feature race will be twice as long as the heat race.

Teams MUST have two drivers. One driver will drive the first heat, one driver will drive the second heat, and both drivers will drive the feature. In the event that a team does not run two drivers in the feature, a 30-second post-race penalty will be applied.

To make the driver switch in the feature, the first driver will pull into a designated pull off area at roughly the halfway point of the race and exit the car:

Joker Lap information is as follows:

• For races with 10 heat laps and 20 feature laps, there will be five Joker Laps per session.
• For races with 8 or 9 heat laps and 16 or 18 feature laps, there will be four Joker Laps per session.
• Teammates may break up their Joker Laps however they wish in the feature, as long as all Joker Laps are run.
• For Wild West, Joker Lap rules do not apply because the track does not have one.

Winners are expected to participate in post-race interviews.
