Preparation for the inaugural RallyX Americas season ramped up substantially this week, with two full days of testing in the books from Orlando Speed World in Florida. With a full fleet of FC1, FC2, and Cross Car vehicles on site, prospective racers took part in more than 60 total test drives across Tuesday and Wednesday sessions.

With instruction from championship-winning drivers Oliver Eriksson in FC1 and Mitchell deJong in FC2, prospective racers took part in multiple runs on both OSW’s oval track and skid pad. Cross Car testers were able to sample multiple machines, with cars fielded by Global Crosskart and P1 Motor Club joining the First Corner FC5.

The list of test drivers ran the gamut of racing disciplines, from rally, rallycross, and off-road experience to sports cars, stock cars, and dirt oval racing. Rally and off-road icons Lia, Mika, and Lucy Block, Championship Off-Road champions John Holtger and Gray Leadbetter, Nitro Circus FMX star Banks Hovey, Rolex 24 winner JF Dumoulin, Porsche Carrera Cup winner Jordan Wallace, and Pikes Peak record holders Blake Fuller and Gardner Nichols were among those bringing major accolades from other forms of racing to the test. And for names like Ellis Spiezia, Scott Anderson, and even deJong, the test represented a first chance to drive the FC1 after racing in FC2s and Supercar Lites over the years.

Promoters from all three venues on the inaugural RallyX Americas schedule—Marty Fiolka from Crandon International Raceway, Levi Jones from Eldora Speedway, and Dominic Fugere from Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières—all visited during the week. In addition, representatives from top FC2 teams SET Loenbro, BAK40 Motorsports, and Team Faren were on site with their respective cars. A wide range of corporate representatives also attended the test to share interest in partnering with RallyX Americas as potential series partners or future venues.

“It’s been a fantastic two days,” said Andreas Eriksson, RallyX founder. “The enthusiasm from the drivers has been enormous. We tried everyone from 12-year-old go-kart kids to older drivers. It’s very important for us to see where everyone stands and how they work in the cars. I couldn’t be more excited—I’m super happy with these two days.”

“We had an overwhelming positive response to our program,” added Kirk Miller, RallyX Americas strategic advisor. “We’re blown away by the level of racers and companies that are seriously interested in joining us for our 2026 season and beyond, and we look forward to delivering an incredible platform for years to come.”

After its successful test in Orlando, RallyX Americas will organize additional testing in the Charlotte area for prospective FC1, FC2, and Cross Car drivers in the coming weeks. Drivers looking for information about future tests can contact Chris Leone at chris.leone@rallyx.se. In addition, final regulations for the 2026 RallyX Americas season, including the Open 2WD class, will be released in the coming days.
