iRacing Arcade Celebrates Demo Release with Max Esterson Partnership at Petit Le Mans

Get your first taste of iRacing Arcade on October 13 with our free demo on Steam!
iRacing Arcade, the exciting new collaboration between iRacing and Original Fire Games, will release its demo on Steam on Monday, October 13. To celebrate the release, the iRacing Arcade logos will appear on the #85 JDC-Miller MotorSports Porsche 963 GTP competing at this weekend’s IMSA Motul Petit Le Mans with iRacing-to-reality driver Max Esterson behind the wheel.
The iRacing Arcade demo will give gamers their first look at the game’s fast, fun, and approachable style of driving. Take the wheel of the officially licensed Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car on Tsukuba Circuit for a quick race to get a feel for what you’ll see in the full game experience. Tire wear, fuel burn, and damage will all be active for a racing experience unlike any you’ve ever played before.
Esterson is one of the top iRacers in the world, having won numerous championships on the sim and serving as tutor for real-world racing legends like Scott Dixon and Richard Westbrook. He channeled his virtual success into the real world competing for the last two years in FIA Formula 2 and FIA Formula 3, with successes in the past including big wins in both the Formula Ford Festival and Walter Hayes Trophy, two of the biggest Formula Ford events in the world, before helping iRacing bring his Ray FF1600 into the sim. Now, Esterson will partner with Tijmen van Der Helm and Neel Jani in the IMSA season finale.
“I’m thrilled to continue my partnership with iRacing by representing iRacing Arcade at Petit Le Mans,” said Esterson. “GTP racing is some of the best competition in the world and a fun new challenge. iRacing Arcade will be the same for racing gamers of all ages and skill sets, with its unique aesthetic and ease of play. I can’t wait for people to get their hands on the demo!”
“IMSA is thrilled to welcome iRacing Arcade to this year’s Motul Petit Le Mans,” said Brandon Huddleston, IMSA’s Vice President of Partnership Marketing and Business Development. “Our major presence in the game, including the premier GTP class, is a strategic way for us to reach new and younger audiences away from the racetrack. We’re looking forward to the demo release and we can’t wait to see what people think of the full game when it drops later this year.”
iRacing Arcade is designed for race fans of all ages to pick up and play. The game features pocket-sized versions of some of real-world racing’s most famous cars and circuits. Build your motorsport legacy in an engaging career mode that sees you develop team facilities, unlock boosts, and climb through the racing ranks, or hit the global time attack leaderboards to post the fastest laps.
iRacing Arcade will hit Steam later this year and console in early 2026. For more information on the game, visit www.iRacingarcade.com. To watch Max Esterson and iRacing Arcade take on Petit Le Mans, tune in to NBC or Peacock on October 11 at noon ET/9AM PT.

#ExtremeH: Gray Leadbetter to Compete in Inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup

Teams up with Fraser McConnell at ZEROID QEV MOTORSPORT on October 9-11
Professional off-road racer Gray Leadbetter will take part in the inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup, the series announced today. Leadbetter will head to Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia to compete in the inaugural event on October 9-11, joining Fraser McConnell at ZEROID QEV MOTORSPORT for the historic event. The duo will take the wheel of the all-new, 550HP Pioneer 25 in the FIA’s first-ever hydrogen-powered World Cup.
Leadbetter is no stranger to the discipline, having competed in the final Extreme E season for Jimmie Johnson’s Legacy Motor Club alongside her mentor Travis Pastrana and Patrick O’Donovan and earning a heat win in Scotland. Her new team partner, QEV Technologies, has been one of the premier brands in off-road racing in recent years, working not only in Extreme E as partner to the Acciona Sainz squad but also extensively in rallycross around the world.
While she’ll be competing for a new team in Extreme H with QEV, Leadbetter will also be reuniting with one of her personal partners, as Yokohama takes over as the series’ Official Tyre Partner with an all-new GEOLANDAR X-AT prototype tire made with 38% renewable and recycled raw material content. She has also shared the track with McConnell in both Extreme E and Americas Rallycross, although this will mark the first time that they’ve been teammates.
“I couldn’t be more excited to compete in the inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup with ZEROID QEV MOTORSPORT,” said Leadbetter. “Fraser has been a great friend over our years in rallycross and I’m thrilled to have a chance to race with him in Qiddiya. My Extreme E races were some of the most fun of my career and this will be no different!”
The inaugural FIA Extreme H World Cup will feature three days of racing, starting with Time Trials on Thursday, Head-to-Head Duels on Friday, and Multi-Car Racing on Saturday to tally up World Cup points. The points table after all three competitions will set the grid for an eight-car final, marking the first time in series history that all entries will run the main event together.
More information on how American fans can watch Gray compete in the FIA Extreme H World Cup will be available closer to the event. For more information on Gray, follow her on social media @grayleadbetter or visit GrayLeadbetter.com for her full schedule.

“Returning to the NASCAR Hall of Fame for the fourth year of the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Championship is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of,” said Ray Smith, Sr. Director of Esports, NASCAR. “This venue not only honors the legends of our sport but also provides the perfect stage to showcase the next chapter of racing’s future. We look forward to creating history once again in this beautiful setting, surrounded by the passion and energy that makes iRacing such a vital part of NASCAR’s story.”
“We couldn’t be more excited to return to the NASCAR Hall of Fame to crown another eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series champion in 2025,” said iRacing executive vice president Steve Myers. “This event gives our drivers something major to strive for every year, and we’re looking forward to another dramatic finish to crown this year’s champion. Thank you as always to the NASCAR Hall of Fame for hosting us!”
“It’s an honor for the NASCAR Hall of Fame to serve again as the presenting sponsor and host venue for the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series season finale,” said Winston Kelley, Executive Director of the NASCAR Hall of Fame. “We’re proud to welcome major NASCAR events to the Hall throughout the year, and our iRacing simulators remain one of the most popular interactive experiences at the Hall. This partnership is a natural fit, and the energy of the live championship finale is something I look forward to every year. It truly brings the excitement of racing to life.”
The first live eNASCAR season finale at the NASCAR Hall of Fame took place in 2022, when Casey Kirwan held off Bobby Zalenski in a battle for second place to claim his first series title. Steven Wilson earned the 2023 championship with another second place finish, while defending series champion Parker White became the first driver to win the eNASCAR title on stage while winning the finale last year.
This year’s eNASCAR Championship 4 will be competing on the virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway. Past eNASCAR champions Wilson and Zack Novak, as well as first-time Championship 4 driver Vicente Salas, earned their spots with wins in playoff races, while Kirwan earned the final spot on points.
As in past years, the live broadcast will be based in Charlotte and stream on eNASCAR.com/live. eNASCAR Countdown to Green will kick off the proceedings at 7:30 p.m. ET, while the green flag will drop at 8 p.m. ET.

#iRacing: INDYCAR Thrustmaster iRacing Pro Series Set To Return in January 2026

All-new qualifying series format to feature newly released INDY NXT Dallara IL-15
INDIANAPOLIS (October 2, 2025) – iRacing, INDYCAR and Thrustmaster are pleased to announce the return of the INDYCAR Thrustmaster iRacing Pro Series for the 2025-26 season.
Once again, the world’s top virtual INDYCAR drivers will compete for a $50,000 prize pool on a mix of top INDYCAR ovals, road courses and street circuits. The return of the championship will be paired with an all-new qualifying series format that features the Dallara IL-15, used in the real-world INDY NXT by Firestone, INDYCAR’s development series.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring the INDYCAR iRacing Pro Series back later this year with the help of our new series partners at Thrustmaster,” said iRacing President Tony Gardner. “This series produced some of our most exciting eSports racing last year, and it’s an important part of our ever-expanding relationship with INDYCAR. Our new Qualifying Series format, using the Dallara IL-15 from INDY NXT by Firestone, adds another level of realism to the championship as drivers walk the same path that real-world INDYCAR stars do to reach the highest level. We’re looking forward to getting the season started!”
Said Ben Hendricks, INDYCAR senior manager of sponsorship sales and strategy: “This is an engaging and fun opportunity for some of the world’s best virtual drivers to showcase their skills against the backdrop of the most competitive and dynamic racing series on the planet. It also serves to underscore the immersive and comprehensive nature of our partnership with iRacing, as we look forward to the launch of our official game in 2026.”
The return of the INDYCAR Thrustmaster iRacing Pro Series is the latest major development in the partnership between iRacing and INDYCAR. Earlier this year, the two sides confirmed that iRacing Studios will produce a dedicated INDYCAR game in 2026 on console and PC. INDYCAR-relevant releases on iRacing this year have included Portland International Raceway in March and the Dallara IL-15 in September, and more content will be produced in time for next year’s INDYCAR title.
The inaugural INDYCAR iRacing Pro Series ran in the fall of 2024, with many of the top tracks in the real-world NTT INDYCAR SERIES represented. Diogo Pinto claimed the championship after a consistent season that included a win at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
The INDYCAR Thrustmaster iRacing Qualifying Series will kick off later this October, while the INDYCAR Thrustmaster iRacing Pro Series will begin in January 2026. Pro Series races will be broadcast live at 8 p.m. ET Thursdays via iRacing social channels and the NTT INDYCAR SERIES YouTube channel and website. More information on both series schedules will be released in the coming weeks.

#PPIHC: Behind the Wheel – Emmanuel Cecchet

Co-written/edited by Lisa Haight
CECCHET ADDS FRENCH FLAIR IN MOUTON-TRIBUTE AUDI ON PIKES PEAK
Colorado Springs, CO – Of the more than 70 competitors who took part in this year’s Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, presented by Gran Turismo, each brought their unique story of how they came to Pikes Peak. Even drivers who called themselves rookies in this year’s 103rd Running carried a wealth of experience from other forms of racing, including other point-to-point events like stage rallies and other hill climbs.
Emmanuel Cecchet can claim all of the above. An indispensable figure in the world of rally through his Frog Racing team, he not only competes in events but offers an extensive resource portfolio of information about the sport to new competitors. The French-born, Massachusetts-based Cecchet linked up with Rayteam Automotive as the team pursued its second straight Pikes Peak finish. Last year, Laszlo Keskeny represented Rayteam on America’s Mountain.
THE PRINCESS AND THE FROG
The story of Cecchet, his wife Margaret Sharron, and their Frog Racing team is well-known in New England. The couple married after a long-distance relationship and got their start in autocross before heading to stage rally and hill climbs.
Sharron competes in the PrincesSTI, while Cecchet runs the FrogSTIr, and they’ve built a massive database of rallying information along the way which they willingly share with fellow competitors and those new to the sport.
“There’s really nothing more gratifying than getting messages from competitors all over the world who send a thank you and share how this content helped them in building their car, or achieving their debut in the sport,” shared Cecchet.
CAPTURING CONTENT
Discussing his method of sharing information with the racing communitiy, Cecchet explained, “We are now closing in on 700 videos from tech tips to onboard racing footage, and everything in between.
“It started when my wife got her own race car. Every time I was doing an upgrade on my car, she wanted the same thing. I started documenting everything I was doing on a webpage, and recording videos. When our team started to grow and we had more and more friends who wanted to volunteer and crew for us, I was spending a lot of time training people one-on-one. Sometimes we wouldn’t have enough time ahead of a race, so I started to make videos for that, too.
“Then other racers started to ask for more technical content, and I believe knowledge is only useful if it is shared. It’s been through word of mouth that we’ve seen a wider reach on our Frog Racing website. We’ve also seen growth in the popularity of our videos. There’s even a recurrent joke in the forums when someone posts a question, ‘There’s a Frog Racing video for that!’”
With a reputation like that, it’s no surprise that Cecchet got the call to drive for Rayteam this year. The Waltham, MA-based outfit was a fan favorite last year with its S1E2 replica, piloted by Keskeny, but needed a new driver for 2025. Add Cecchet’s experience competing in an Audi RS4 at hillclimbs in New England and both car and driver were a perfect match.
FROM EXTRACTION TO REDEMPTION
For Cecchet to even be able to compete on Pikes Peak this year was a minor miracle. Driving his FrogSTIr Subaru in last year’s Burke Hillclimb, he suffered a broken arm and leg in a high-speed crash. True to form, Frog Racing published a detailed video including not only footage from the incident, but a breakdown of the safety equipment used, challenges of the two-driver extrication process, and a review of lessons learned.
Cecchet made sure he had plenty of time behind the wheel to get comfortable with going fast again. The team tested at Thompson Speedway in Connecticut to dial in the car under multiple conditions and ran two hillclimbs at Mt. Ascutney and Mt. Okemo ahead of Pikes Peak.
“I practiced every day on the simulator to memorize the course,” Cecchet said. “I also watched onboard videos from last year to figure out where the bad bumps were and where being off the racing line in favor of smoother tarmac can be advantageous.”
The preparation paid off on race day as the car was able to score its second consecutive finish, this time with Cecchet in the driver’s seat. On this year’s shortened course, he was able to post a time of 5:09.043 in the Pikes Peak Open division.
“On race day, it was exactly 364 days since my high-speed crash at the Burke Hillclimb. As soon as I got the phone call from Rayteam, I ramped up the physical prep to make sure my broken arm and leg would be up to the task.
“Nothing motivates you to recover faster than preparing for Pikes Peak!” – Emmanuel Cecchet
AUDI POWER
“There is nothing like a Group B Audi, the look, the sound, the rawness of the driving,” Cecchet admits. “The car is not an original factory car, it is a replica but it has the look, the sound and the feel of the original.
“It was such a tribute to the sport to drive this car at speed up the mountain.”
MEETING YOUR HERO
“What made this year extra special was meeting Michèle Mouton and seeing her induction to the Pikes Peak Hill Climb Hall of Fame, especially since I was driving an iconic Audi S1E2, bringing back all the memories of the classic Group B Audi years and Michèle’s victory 40 years ago,” shared Cecchet.
Bearing Mouton’s signature on the roof of his car, Cecchet, and teammate Alex Kim, celebrated her by waving the French flag in her honor at the finish.

Fun Facts:
“I learned to drive in a convertible with an air cooled engine, a Citroen 2CV with 29hp. Driving that car taught me how to keep momentum in corners and not lift!”
“I was part of the NASA team who built the system to find lost wrenches onboard the space station!”
Biggest challenges: “The weather conditions are always a challenge at Pikes Peak, but as a rally driver I am used to driving in pretty much any condition. The physical challenge is probably the biggest hurdle. To be able to give 100% on race day, oxygen helps, for sure, but I am not a 20-year-old hiking in the French Alps like I used to be…vintage car, vintage driver now!”
Biggest accomplishment in motorsports: “Being a grassroot racer, being able to race 2 cars nonstop for over a decade year around without getting bankrupt is probably my biggest accomplishment! Of course, the wins and podiums sweeten the deal! We enjoy racing year round, from ice racing in winter, to hillclimbs in the summer, and stage rally in all seasons. But, two highlights from my motorsport career are the 2023 Ontario Performance Rally Championship win and the double podium finish with my wife at the 2021 Mt. Washington Climb to the Clouds.”
Favorite PPIHC moments: “I really like the human interactions with the crews, the other competitors, and the fans. The driving can be fun too, but it comes only second. Any opportunity from practice to Fan Fest to race day where we can interact with people and share the passion of racing is a favorite moment!”
Favorite track: “For hillclimbing, Mt. Washington is very special, I had the chance to race it when it still had a dirt section. It is much narrower and more technical than Pikes Peak, and it only happens every three years, it is a very special place. The last edition we got both Frog Racing cars on the podium and there is nothing like being able to share a podium with your wife!”

#ChampOffRoad: Gray Leadbetter Aims for Top Pro Lite Rookie Honors in Glen Helen

Professional off-road racer Gray Leadbetter is ready to wrap up her rookie Pro Lite season in Championship Off-Road on a high note this weekend at Glen Helen Raceway. Leadbetter and the #28 On Track School/Yokohama/Pepper Palace/Ryan Beat Motorsports Chevrolet wrap up the campaign with two more rounds of points racing on Friday and Saturday night, with a top five finish in the final standings on the line.
Leadbetter is certainly no stranger to Glen Helen, having run multiple races at the track in Nitrocross. In the 2023-24 season, she took a podium and two top-fives in the two Glen Helen rounds for the SXS class, with her third place finish coming after she used strong Joker Lap strategy to work her way around action sports legend Brian Deegan.
After just one points round at the Crandon World Championships on Labor Day weekend, Leadbetter remains fifth in the standings, best among any drivers in their first full Pro Lite season. Thanks to strong speed in the second half of the season, including her first podium at Bark River, she can also set her sights on climbing as high as fourth, a position she sits just five points behind.
“I’m looking forward to racing in Glen Helen!” said Leadbetter. “I raced out here for Nitrocross in 2023 and it was a blast, the fans were incredible I’m so looking forward to being back and getting short course to the west coast again. The track has some differences to it with the rhythm section, which is a first for most, so it’s definitely going to be a show!”
Leadbetter’s weekend in Glen Helen will be a short one, as all sessions have been confined to Friday and Saturday. Friday will be the busiest day, with practice at 10:30AM, qualifying at 12:30PM; Saturday will see an additional practice session at 12:20PM, and both days will see drivers take the green flag at 7:45PM. As always, FloRacing will carry live streaming, but fans looking to attend can click here to buy tickets to watch Gray race!
Gray Leadbetter’s Championship Off-Road program is supported by On Track School, Yokohama, Pepper Palace, Sparco, Vision Wheel, and Ryan Beat Motorsports. For more information on Gray, follow her on social media @grayleadbetter or visit GrayLeadbetter.com for her full schedule.

#TransAm: Tomy Drissi Aims to Replicate Last Year’s Magic in Return to Virginia

- Tomy Drissi remains third in Trans Am points coming into the series’ return to VIRginia International Raceway
- Drissi enters VIR coming off his third podium of the 2025 season, a third place finish at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
- Last year at VIR, Drissi mounted an epic charge through the field to go from last on the grid to second at the checkered flag
2009 Trans Am champion Tomy Drissi heads into this weekend’s action at VIRginia International Raceway looking to go one step better than last year’s runner-up finish at the track. Drissi and the #8 Trench Shoring Company/Motul/Franklin Road Apparel Chevrolet Camaro will take on 31 laps of the 3.27-mile course on Sunday afternoon as he chases his fourth podium finish of the season.
Drissi remains third in TA class points entering Virginia thanks to a podium finish at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park late last month. While a daring move to take the lead off a late restart was called back, he remained third when the checkered flag flew, increasing his advantage over Amy Ruman for third place to 25 points.
Last year’s VIR round saw Drissi put forth one of his most impressive performances of the season. Despite a pre-race penalty that put him to the back of the grid and contact during the race, he carved his way through the field to take second place on the final lap. It was Drissi’s sixth podium of the 2024 season, part of a four-race podium streak to end the year.
“I’m looking forward to getting back on track at VIR and keeping up our great momentum from the summer,” said Drissi. “With just a few races remaining in the season, every point counts, and we were able to score a lot of them here last year. The Drissi Motorsports team has been working hard to keep us in the mix for checkered flags, and we’re eager to build on another podium streak this weekend!”
Tomy Drissi’s on-track schedule at VIRginia International Raceway begins on Friday with optional test sessions at 11:55AM and 5:20PM. On Saturday, practice will kick off at 10:30AM and qualifying will run at 4:55PM, while Sunday’s race will go green at 1PM for 31 laps or 75 minutes of action.
