Extending a partnership that has seen them score wins and championships all around the world, Robin Larsson and JC Raceteknik will compete together once again in 2026 as part of the inaugural RallyX Amercas championship.

“I’m really looking forward to go racing again, especially in the USA again!” Larsson said in a team release. “Everything was settled really late and I haven’t even been thinking about the racing and competition that much, but of course will when the helmet comes on, it is full focus. We want to make the series and racing look good so we can hopefully build something for the future. I’m really looking forward to Crandon; the track, atmosphere and to see the Pro 4 cars, that’s a real bucket list car for me to drive and it will be fun to be in the same event at them.”

“Robin has been so good in the FC1, he just understood the car in a way that was very impressive,” added Joel Christoffersson, JC Raceteknik team principal. “He has been quite a long time out of the seat now, even if he has done some folkracing here in Sweden, but I also don’t think it will take him long to find the feeling again. He is a very different driver to the one we first started working with in 2019 and I am very excited to get back racing together again especially on a new challenge in RallyX Americas.”

Larsson is the most dominant driver in the racing history of the FC1 so far, winning its first two championships and leading the points at the end of the shortened 2024 season as part of the Dreyer & Reinbold Racing/JC Raceteknik partnership. In 23 FC1 races, he’s finished on the podium 18 times, including eight victories. Before that, he became a two-time European Rallycross champion in 2014 and 2019, matching his father Lars, who won the series’ 2006 and 2007 titles.

JC Raceteknik has established itself as one of the world’s foremost rallycross teams on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean in recent years. The team earned the 2020 World Rallycross team championship with Larsson and Mattias Ekström, and fielded driver Johan Kristoffersson in his fifth straight title-winning season the next year. Just this past weekend, the team earned a win and two podiums apiece with FC2 driver Lukas Andersson and Crosscar driver Carl Svedlund in RallyX action from Älvsbyn, Sweden. In North America, Larsson and Andreas Bakkerud took 12 wins and two team championships in the FC1 car for DRR/JC from 2022 to 2024.
