The final round of the inaugural RallyX Americas championship sees Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières’ traditional rallycross circuit make its long-awaited return. At .832 miles (1.339 km) and with 11 challenging turns, the lap features a 60-40 split of sealed and unsealed surfaces. Here’s a look at what fans can expect from our course later this week:

LAUNCH AND OUT LAP

The start zone at GP3R sits to the outside of the main layout, setting up a full-throttle charge down the longest straightaway on the course straight in front of the fans. Here, the full experience of RallyX Americas will be at its most evident, as racers go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in two seconds or less.

MAIN LAP

GP3R’s first two corners match its street racing circuit, but the layout takes a pair of rights in Turns 3 and 4 before hitting a jump to head into the dirt section. A left-hand hairpin serves as the headline challenge in the dirt, before drivers once again jump out and charge into a hard right-hander and right-left sequence to return to the frontstretch and charge to the finish line.

JOKER LAP

The GP3R Joker Lap sees drivers push to the outside of the Turn 5 dirt hairpin. With a slightly different profile than the hard left-hander that marks the main lap, executing the Joker well is important as racers look to re-establish the inside line for the right-hand Turn 6. The Joker extends the lap to .850 miles (1.368 km).
