That’s right—we’ve figured out how to do team rallycross with the FIA Cross Car. You and your teammate will split running a pair of heats before running a 16-lap feature with a mid-race bailout. You’ll also have not one, but four Jokers per race to contend with… use them wisely!

    Race time: April 30 – 7PM ET/4PM PT (January 30, 1AM CET/11AM AEDT)

    Cross Car World Trophy Rules

Each race will feature two heats (the second will feature a reverse grid) and one feature race. The feature race will be twice as long as the heat race.

Teams MUST have two drivers. One driver will drive the first heat, one driver will drive the second heat, and both drivers will drive the feature. In the event that a team does not run two drivers in the feature, a 30-second post-race penalty will be applied.

To make the driver switch in the feature, the first driver will pull into a designated pull off area at roughly the halfway point of the race and exit the car:

Joker Lap information is as follows:

    • For races with 10 heat laps and 20 feature laps, there will be five Joker Laps per session.
    • For races with 8 or 9 heat laps and 16 or 18 feature laps, there will be four Joker Laps per session.
    • Teammates may break up their Joker Laps however they wish in the feature, as long as all Joker Laps are run.
    • For Wild West, Joker Lap rules do not apply because the track does not have one.

Winners are expected to participate in post-race interviews.

  • Max and Robby Gordon Earn Second #AORC Win of 2026 at #SilverState300

Max and Robby Gordon Earn Second #AORC Win of 2026 at #SilverState300

For the second time this season, the father-son team of Robby and Max Gordon stood on top of the overall podium in an American Off-Road Racing Championship Unlimited Race at the conclusion of Saturday’s Silver State 300. After Max bested the field in qualifying by more than 10 seconds, the duo wheeled their #5 Unlimited Truck 4WD through three laps of the 106-mile Tonopah course in a blistering 4:58:56, making them the only racers to crack the five-hour barrier on the weekend.

The win was just the latest in a Gordon family legacy of father-son victories. 40 years ago, Robby teamed up with his father Bob to win the Parker 400 for the first time; now, he and Max have two AORC overall wins under their belt in three 2026 rounds so far.

“It’s pretty cool to be able to do this and repeat,” said Robby Gordon, who drove the final lap of the race and made the call not to re-rack tires despite a flat for Max on the second lap. “I wouldn’t be able to do this without Clyde Stacy and RPM, thanks for trusting me and putting Max in the car, I told him he could do it. (Max) qualified on the pole, drove a great two laps, and they did exactly what they needed to do. That’s how you win races and how you win championships.”

“As long as we stayed out front all day today, we knew we were going to have a good shot at it,” added Max Gordon. “This RPM truck and Geiser Bros did a great job, and Kole (Cramer) did a great job in the right seat. Thanks to Clyde Stacy and everyone that puts this team together, it feels great to win again!”

As was the case in last month’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400, the top three trucks across the line were split among AORC’s three premier classes. Second overall and first in Unlimited Truck 2WD was Tracy Poole, who improved on a fifth-place class finish at the Mint to win his class by more than 17 minutes over Joseph Herling.

Rounding out the podium, and taking top honors in the SPEC class, was a familiar truck with a different face behind the wheel. With Mint 400 overall winner Kyle Jergensen preparing to welcome a new child, the #222 Camburg/Magnaflow team handed the reins to Justin “Bean” Smith, who gave them their third class win and overall podium in as many events. Smith edged out RJ Stidham by just over a minute to preserve the winning streak, while Kit Stokes completed the class podium and overall top five.

All told, SPEC trucks would make up six of the overall top 10 finishers after front-runners in the other classes dealt with various hiccups along the way. 4WD podium finishers Tracy Graf and Rolf Helland, as well as top 2WD qualifier Nic Whetstone, all threatened for overall podiums; while all would make it to the finish line, only Graf could hang on for an overall top 10 despite the brake issues that added more than half an hour to his Lap 3 time.

Top finishers from the 2026 Silver State 300 Unlimited Race were as follows:

    1. #5 Robby Gordon, Unlimited Truck 4WD, 3 laps, 4:58:55.975
    2. #78 Tracy Poole, Unlimited Truck 2WD, 3 laps, 5:08:29.427
    3. #222 Justin “Bean” Smith, Unlimited Truck SPEC, 3 laps, 5:09:17.341
    4. #280 RJ Stidham, Unlimited Truck SPEC, 3 laps, 5:10:25.354
    5. #247 Kit Stokes, Unlimited Truck SPEC, 3 laps, 5:21:14.077
    6. #288 Austin Kimbrell, Unlimited Truck SPEC, 3 laps, 5:26:46.001
    7. #50 Joseph Herling, Unlimited Truck 2WD, 3 laps, 5:27:30.207
    8. #273 Troy Grabowski, Unlimited Truck SPEC, 3 laps, 5:30:04.448
    9. #58 Tracy Graf, Unlimited Truck 4WD, 3 laps, 5:39:40.207
    10. #229 Stony Kujala, Unlimited Truck SPEC, 3 laps, 5:45:59.644

  • #AORC: Kyle Chaney Wins 2026 #SilverState300 Limited Race

#AORC: Kyle Chaney Wins 2026 #SilverState300 Limited Race

53 seconds over a five-hour race. That’s all that separated the overall podium of the 2026 Silver State 300 Limited Race on time as they crossed the line. And on a hard-fought Friday afternoon where passing opportunities were at a premium and precision was the name of the game, Kyle Chaney would come out on top of what will likely go down as the tightest UTV Pro battle of this year’s American Off-Road Racing Championship.

Chaney and co-driver Saydiie Grey finished three laps of this year’s race in 5:07:03.741, giving the driver of the #T191 his first podium of the season. Parker 400 runner-up Ronnie Anderson would finish second, just 25 seconds behind Chaney, while top qualifier Corbin Leaverton would complete the podium.

While other events this year have proven dramatic for their high attrition rates, the 106-mile Tonopah course brought the excitement in a completely different way. The top UTV Pro racers were right on top of one another all day long, and even through the second lap the top seven racers were within just two minutes of one another on corrected time.

The difference would come down to who could finish strongest. The three podium finishers each pulled out a 1:42 lap to spread the gap a little wider and lock into the top spots. Of the late front-runners, only Cody Bradbury would fall out of contention on the final lap, taking the first DNF in the UTV Pro.

Initially, Mitch Guthrie crossed the finish line first, with a preliminary time 13 seconds ahead of Chaney despite starting in eighth. However, after post-race review, AORC officials determined that Guthrie used an illegal race line at RM 74 on all three laps, awarding him a five-minute penalty.

UTV Pro racers dominated the top end of the standings, with just one other driver—Class 10 winner Clayton Sullivan, on the podium for the first time this season—cracking the overall top 20. Other class winners included Jeff Martin in UTV Pro Turbo, Justin Von Metal in UTV Pro Stock, and Caysen Weaver in UTV Pro Stock Modified.

Top finishers from the 2026 Silver State 300 Limited Race were as follows:

    1. #T191 Kyle Chaney, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:07:03.742
    2. #T52 Ronnie Anderson, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:07:28.418
    3. #T25 Corbin Leaverton, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:09:37.026
    4. #T22 Cody Miller, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:09:56.547
    5. #T51 Mitch Guthrie, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:11:50.318
    6. #T959 Josh Row, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:12:33.013
    7. #T838 Michael McFayden, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:13:25.499
    8. #T44 Phil Blurton, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:16:02.406
    9. #T171 Travis Sallee, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:24:45.632
    10. #T57 Blake Wilkey, UTV Pro, 3 laps, 5:28:30.938

  • Ciaran Naran, Lyndon Snodgrass Earn Second Straight #AORC Motorcycle Win at #SilverState300

Ciaran Naran, Lyndon Snodgrass Earn Second Straight #AORC Motorcycle Win at #SilverState300

Ciaran Naran and Lyndon Snodgrass posted another dominant performance in American Off-Road Racing Championship action on Friday morning, earning their second straight race win in the Silver State 300 Motorcycle Race. Unlike last month’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400, where they made a late pass on Dalton Shirey for the win, the #N2 Open Pro Motorcycle team led from the beginning thanks the top time in Thursday’s qualifying session. Their winning time of 5:10:24.548 was nearly 18 minutes clear of their closest competition.

“We had a great day yesterday in qualifying, were first off the line this morning, and had dust control, which definitely helped us out,” said Naran. “Luckily the wind wasn’t blowing too hard this morning, so it helped in our favor being the first bike on course. The course was super fun, the AORC organization put on a great event, and I’m stoked to be here at the finish line. Lyndon had a great race—he had a small get-off, so did I, with how high-speed this course is I’m happy that we’re both safe and sound.”

“Ciaran did the first lap and a half, so he set up the race,” added Snodgrass. “Unfortunately the other guys had a bike issue, so we had a good gap there. We just got into a flow, and I was able to click off the miles and look forward to getting to the finish line.”

Naran and Parker 400 winner Shane Logan would be the first two racers off the line, and after teaming up to finish third at this event on a different course last year, Friday looked to be a showdown between the two points leaders. But Logan would suffer a fuel pump issue on the first lap that would knock him out of winning contention, dropping him off both the overall and Open Pro podiums.

That left the next two Open Pro spots to third and fourth place qualifiers Gavin Erickson and Matthew Grant, both of whom would stand on the class podium for the first time this year. Completing the overall top five were Ironman Pro winner Matthew Combs, who split Erickson and Grant for the third overall spot, and Open Expert winner Caleb Tate. It was Tate’s second overall top five of the year, following a fourth place overall at the Parker 400, and his third class win in three races this season. Combs, meanwhile, became the third different Ironman Pro winner this year and the first to earn an overall podium, coming in ahead of Mint 400 winner Patricio Cabrera and Parker 400 winner Remington Mathews.

Other class winners included Teddy Miller in 399 Expert, Shandy Kittleson in Quad Pro, and Mark Gerloff in Hooligan Sportsman Motorcycle. Miller is a perfect three for three on the season, while Gerloff is two for two after winning the Mint 400 and Kittleson took his first win of the season.

Top finishers from the 2026 Silver State 300 Motorcycle Race were as follows:

    1. #N2 Ciaran Naran, Open Pro Motorcycle, 3 laps, 5:10:24.548
    2. #N40 Gavin Erickson, Open Pro Motorcycle, 3 laps, 5:28:22.219
    3. #J67 Matthew Combs, Ironman Pro Motorcycle, 3 laps, 5:31:50.645
    4. #N18 Matthew Grant, Open Pro Motorcycle, 3 laps, 5:32:47.555
    5. #312 Caleb Tate, Open Expert Motorcycle, 3 laps, 5:39:00.793
    6. #N1 Shane Logan, Open Pro Motorcycle, 3 laps, 5:40:39.475
    7. #N10 Brandon Krause, Open Pro Motorcycle, 3 laps, 5:42:38.106
    8. #J5 Patricio Cabrera, Ironman Pro Motorcycle, 3 laps, 5:46:53.676
    9. #J27 Remington Mathews, Ironman Pro Motorcycle, 3 laps, 5:49:30.748
    10. #316 Ryan Powell, Open Expert Motorcycle, 3 laps, 6:00:14.350

  • Drissi Motorsports Carries Momentum into First #TransAm Doubleheader of 2026 in Sonoma

Drissi Motorsports Carries Momentum into First #TransAm Doubleheader of 2026 in Sonoma
    • Drissi Motorsports returns to Trans Am competition this weekend at Sonoma Raceway with national and Western champions Tomy Drissi and Simon Gregg
    • Drissi has taken podiums in the past two Trans Am national races at Sonoma
    • Simon Gregg returns to a track where he won three Western Series races in a row from 2019-21

Drissi Motorsports is excited to resume the 60th Anniversary season of Trans Am by Pirelli with the first doubleheader of the year at Sonoma Raceway this weekend. California native and 2009 national champion Tomy Drissi and the #8 Trench Shoring Company/Petersen Automotive Museum/Motul Chevrolet Camaro will look to score their second and third podiums of the season, while 2012 national champion Simon Gregg and the #59 Chevrolet Camaro will look to break into the top five.

So far, spring has been kind to Drissi behind the wheel, starting with March’s hard-fought podium finish at Road Atlanta. Earlier this month, Drissi returned to the International Race of Champions, where he joined a grid of fellow racing legends at the Heritage Invitational at Ten Tenths Motor Club; returning to the same car he drove to victory at Laguna Seca last year, Drissi was again one of the top drivers in the field, finishing sixth overall in a photo finish across the line with Max Papis.

The Hollywood native looks to carry that momentum into his home state, which hosts two races for the second year in a row. Drissi has taken podiums in the last two Trans Am races at Sonoma—third place last year, second place in 2022—and four of his five career NASCAR Cup Series starts have come at the track. Drissi also finished second here in Trans Am Western competition in 2018, on the way to winning that year’s championship.

“I’ve had Sonoma circled on this year’s calendar ever since it was announced,” said Drissi. “Trans Am has such an amazing history in California, and I’ve always been able to find success coming back home, from my first win at Long Beach in 2000 to now. It’s going to be very special to get to race in front of these fans twice, and I’m looking forward to going for more trophies on one of my favorite tracks!”

Gregg has his own record of success at Sonoma, especially in the Western Series. He won the TA class here in 2019 on the way to the series championship, and he backed it up with XGT victories in 2020 and 2021. As he continues to build a rapport with the Drissi Motorsports team, Gregg will look to replicate those past successes.

“It’s exciting to get back to Sonoma, a track where I’ve run so well in past,” said Gregg. “Every time I hit the track with this Drissi Motorsports team, we get a little bit faster and more competitive. We’re hoping to take advantage of the doubleheader to score some good points and move forward in the championship.”

With two races on the docket for the weekend, Drissi Motorsports and the TA class will get their first track time on Thursday with a pair of optional test sessions at 11:25AM and 5PM. Friday’s schedule will see practice at 9:35AM and qualifying at 2:40PM, while the green flag for this weekend’s races will drop on Saturday at 9:45AM and Sunday at 10:45AM. Tickets are still available, while Racing America will carry free live streaming of both races as always.

To keep up with Tomy Drissi, follow @tomydrissi on Instagram and Facebook, and visit www.tomydrissi.com. Following Sonoma, Drissi Motorsports will return to action on May 21-23 at Lime Rock Park.

  • Team OMSE Returns to #RallyX with Massive Global Race and Support Program

Team OMSE Returns to #RallyX with Massive Global Race and Support Program

Pro 4 standout Jimmy Henderson joins multi-car Hypercar team in RallyX Americas, multiple class entries in Europe

Team OMSE is pleased to confirm a massive international program to support RallyX’s global series in 2026. From a multi-car Hypercar program in RallyX Americas, to multiple First Corner FC2 Supercars in Europe, to arrive-and-drive programs on both sides of the Atlantic, Team OMSE will support top-tier professional efforts at multiple levels around the world.

Team OMSE’s RallyX Americas Hypercar effort was first unveiled by the series last week, as one of the four world-class teams that will be competing in the division. Its three First Corner FC1s have kept quite busy over the past year, from running the first RallyX Americas demo at Crandon International Raceway last summer to appearances at the SEMA and PRI Shows and open test sessions in Orlando and Charlotte earlier this year.

As part of that effort, Team OMSE is proud to confirm Jimmy Henderson as its first Hypercar driver for the 2026 season. Henderson has been a perennial front-runner in Championship Off-Road Pro 4 competition, where he’s finished second in points for the past three years in a row with a career-high seven wins last season, including four at Crandon. Henderson has also run Supercar Lites in America, with multiple podiums and a third place points finish in 2023-24.

“I’m just super excited to be a part of the Team OMSE legacy,” said Henderson. “I’ve always looked up to the team that they’ve put together. They’ve always been very professional with a great atmosphere around them. We’ve been talking for a long time and been friends for a long time, and we’ve just never been able to bring things together until now. So this opportunity to step into an FC1 Hypercar under the Team OMSE banner is just a great experience for me.”

In Europe, Oliver Eriksson has been confirmed to return in the team’s Supercar/FC2 for all race events after scoring two podium finishes in Open 4WD and five in FC2-only finals last year. He’ll be joined by Casper Jansson, who won the FC2 championship and gave the FC2 its first overall Open 4WD victory at Nysum last year. Kevin Eriksson will also return to the driver’s seat in the season-opening event in Valkenswaard later this month.

New additions to the team include Romet Tsirna in FC2 and Alex Lindeqvist in Supercar Lites, who will each graduate from Crosscar to join the team. Tsirna finished fifth in the championship last year with a victory in Finland, while Lindeqvist was eighth in the standings with multiple final appearances as well as wiining in Portugal.

Alongside these programs, racers looking to compete in RallyX or other events around the world are welcome to contact Team OMSE at info@omse.se. Team OMSE will have open spaces for Hypercar/FC1, Supercar/FC2, and Supercar Lites drivers.

“2026 is going to be an amazing season for our team around the world,” said Team OMSE’s Kevin Eriksson. “We’re excited to return to competition in North America alongside our European team efforts, and we look forward to racing at a high level across the board. I’m also excited to get back in the driver’s seat myself.

“We also encourage any drivers who are considering RallyX to get in touch with us as still have high-level cars and rental opportunities available.”

Team OMSE will kick off the 2026 RallyX season on April 25-26 at Eurocircuit in Valkenswaard, Netherlands, and the 2026 RallyX Americas season on June 20-21 at Crandon International Raceway in Wisconsin. For more information about Team OMSE, visit https://www.omse.se.

2026 Mint 400 winner Landon Morrow finished second, coming in two minutes and 44 seconds behind Martinez. It marked Morrow’s third podium in as many races, as he also finished second to Martinez to start the AORC season at the Parker 400. #AORC: Max Gordon, Corbin Leaverton, Ciaran Naran Top 2026 #SilverState300 Qualifying

Max Gordon, Corbin Leaverton, and Ciaran Naran will start their respective Silver State 300 races from the top spot after posting the fastest times in Thursday’s qualifying. Paced overall by Gordon, whose 5:11.163 was quickest among all racers on the 5.2 mile time trial course, today’s action saw more than 60 of the American Off-Road Racing Championship’s top title contenders lay down times to set their starting spots for the third round of the season.

Motorcycles laid down the first runs of the day, with Mint 400 winner Naran and Parker 400 winner Shane Logan separated by just over two seconds for the top two spots as they continue their fight for the title. Last year, Logan and Naran teamed up to finish third at Silver State, coming in just over three minutes behind the winning time; this year, they’ll go head-to-head for the win.

Class 10s kicked off Group 2 qualifying, with Brian Hoar posting the fastest time of the group with a 6:11.587. When the UTV Pros took over, Cody Bradbury set the early benchmark with a 5:18.655, a mark that withstood challenge after challenge as the morning went on. Finally, Leaverton was able to topple him, coming in just .397 seconds faster with a 5:18.258 to earn top honors.

When the final group hit the course for their run, it was again anyone’s guess as to which group of Unlimited Trucks would come out on top. When all was said and done, the 4WD, 2WD, and SPEC entries split the overall top 10 about as evenly as possible—although the 4WD trucks had the edge with four of the top six qualifiers. Top 2WD qualifier Nic Whetstone was second in the group with a 5:22.436, while Justin “Bean” Smith paced the SPEC trucks, laying down a 5:34.167 in relief duty of Kyle Jergensen, who is missing the race for the birth of his child.

First Corner Celebrates Milestone 25th FC2 Supercar Build, Looks Ahead to Exciting 2026 #RallyX Season

First Corner, the globally renowned constructor of premier rallycross vehicles, is pleased to share that it has crossed the milestone of 25 completed FC2 Supercars in its path to 100 total cars. The FC2, which has been praised internationally for its low cost of operation and high Supercar performance, will be a key part of the 2026 RallyX season in both Europe and North America.

The FC2 enters its third full season of competition after debuting in 2024. Team OMSE gave the car its first overall Supercar win in Europe with Casper Jansson at RallyX Nysum last year, and Jansson finished fifth in the overall Open 4WD points in the car. The largest field of FC2s in history is set to take on the RallyX season opener at Eurocircuit in the Netherlands later this month, and more cars are expected to join over the season as well.

“2026 is going to be a terrific year for First Corner cars in competition around the world,” said First Corner’s Andreas Eriksson. “Completing our 25th FC2 is an exciting milestone as we provide a revolutionary, affordable new take on Supercar racing. The FC2 is a core part of our efforts as we support drivers on every step of the rallycross ladder globally, and we’re excited that the car has been embraced so widely in pursuit of our goal of 100 total FC2 builds.”

First Corner now looks ahead to the 2026 season, where its cars will compete throughout the RallyX ladder. From the top-level FC1 and FC2 that compete in the Hypercar and Supercar classes to the upcoming competitive debut of the FC5 Crosscar and the legendary Supercar Lites development vehicle, First Corner’s presence can be felt on every step of the RallyX ladder.

Racers looking to compete in RallyX or other events around the world can buy, rent, or lease First Corner cars throughout the RallyX ladder:

    • Hypercar (FC1): Competing in RallyX Americas’ Hypercar class, the FC1 boasts mind-bending acceleration, laser-focused handling, and durability in the toughest of conditions.
    • Supercar (FC2): Alongside all of RallyX’s global divisions, the FC2 continues to receive approval to compete in many national Rallycross championships through Europe.
    • Supercar Lites: With the top driver in RallyX’s European events receiving a prize drive in an FC2 at the RallyX Global Final in Montalegre in October, a Supercar Lites entry is your best opportunity to quickly earn a shot in a proper Supercar.
    • Crosscar (FC5): Unveiled last year and tested extensively at RallyX Americas’ open tests, the FC5 is eligible to compete in all RallyX events globally.
