#NASCAR25 Career Mode: Chasing the Cup

Welcome to the official NASCAR 25 Career Mode walkthrough! In this series, we’ll give you the inside line on making the most out of your NASCAR 25 career, working your way up from a start-up team in the ARCA Menards Series to the upper echelons of the NASCAR Cup Series.
This week, we’re taking you to the top level: the NASCAR Cup Series. This is what you’ve worked for throughout your time in Career Mode, and now’s your time to pursue the highest honors in the sport: the Cup Series title, a win in the Daytona 500, and as many trophies as you can take home along the way.

Welcome to the Big Show
Earning your way into the NASCAR Cup Series requires a Level 7 reputation, or 230,000 RP. As with your past promotions, your new Cup team will see an extra slot in your garage, bringing you to four cars now. And just like the previous series, you’ll start with all Level 1 equipment for the season-opening Daytona 500, while unlocking better parts as the season goes on.
By this point, you should have a strong grasp on the mechanics of Career Mode. Your Crew Chief and Mechanics will be responsible for working on your car, your Performance Manager and Engineers will be responsible for giving you access to the highest caliber parts, your Agent will find you the best sponsorship deals on the market, and your PR Manager will find you opportunities to add to your resources and reputation.

Check Your Calendar
The Cup Series has the longest schedule in NASCAR 25, with well over 30 races on the calendar. If you elect to back up your rookie Cup season with another year in the Xfinity Series to bank more money for upgrades, you’ll be in for nearly 70 races in all—so choose wisely if you decide to take on two series at once.
The Cup Series boasts the longest and largest playoff format as well. 16 drivers make the 10-race playoff through race wins and points performance in the regular season. The playoff field cuts down to 12 after three races, eight after six, and the Championship 4 after nine, setting the stage for one more showdown at Phoenix.

Just like the real-world NASCAR Cup Series, you’ll also see some additional races pop up on the schedule that won’t be run for normal points. At longer race lengths, the qualifying process for the season-opening Daytona 500 includes the Duel at Daytona, one of two shorter races that set the inside and outside rows for the race. Also included is the NASCAR All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway, which offers you a nice financial windfall of $1,000,000 to win.

#NASCAR25 Career Mode: The X(finity) Factor

Welcome to the official NASCAR 25 Career Mode walkthrough! In this series, we’ll give you the inside line on making the most out of your NASCAR 25 career, working your way up from a start-up team in the ARCA Menards Series to the upper echelons of the NASCAR Cup Series.
This week, we explore the NASCAR Xfinity Series, which builds on some of the fundamentals you’ve mastered at the lower levels and deepens the experience further with new types of employees.
Building Your Team 3.0
It’ll take you a Level 5 reputation, or 75,000 RP, to be eligible for the Xfinity Series. Much like your move from ARCA into the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, you’ll be starting your new team from scratch for the new season, with new employees across the board.

In Xfinity, your car count increases to three. On the one hand, it means that each of your parts will last longer into the season before they wear out and you have to replace them. On the other, you’ll have to make some more strategic choices on when and how to repair your equipment, especially early on when your fleet of mechanics is smaller. With that said, you’ll be able to hire up to six of them eventually, which should give you more than enough Work Points to do anything you need.
Xfinity will be your longest season yet, with more than 30 rounds on the calendar. The good news is that means more opportunities than ever to win your way into the playoffs; the bad news is your competition will be stiffer than ever.

Engineering Evolution
When you go to manage your staff in the Office, you might notice two new roles as part of your vastly expanded operation: a Performance Manager, and Engineers. These new roles are vital to granting you access to the best parts in the series. Similar to how your Mechanics give you Work Points, your Engineers give you R&D Points, which are replenished on a weekly basis.
At the start of your time in Xfinity, you’ll only be able to work your way up to purchasing Level 5 parts. Once you’ve hired a Performance Manager and at least one Engineer (of a maximum of six), you’ll start noticing Level 6 parts and higher. Each of these parts won’t just cost money, they’ll also cost R&D Points, similar to how your repairs utilize your Work Points.

Previously, you might have skirted around having a bad race due to incomplete repairs on a part by buying a new one after completing work for the week and installing it then. That won’t necessarily work here. While you may have enough money to buy a higher-level part, if you don’t have the R&D Points available on a weekly basis, you won’t be able to get it until you do. (Like Work Points, they don’t carry over from week to week.) And it may take you quite some time to be able to even think about buying two or more of the higher-level parts on the same week. So manage your resources carefully!

#SCORE: King Shocks’ Alan Ampudia Claims Second Straight SCORE Trophy Truck Championship at 2025 Baja 1000

For the second consecutive year, King Shocks-backed driver Alan Ampudia is the SCORE Trophy Truck champion after completion of the 2025 season with the 58th SCORE Baja 1000. Ampudia, who soloed the entire season, secured the title with a sixth place finish in the most grueling race of the year.
After earning the overall SCORE championship in 2024 thanks to a win in the King Shocks SCORE San Felipe 250 and two additional podiums, Ampudia was even better in 2025. He not only backed up last year’s triumph in San Felipe, he also added wins in the SCORE Baja 500 in June and SCORE Baja 400 in September, joining elite company as one the only drivers to have won all four of SCORE’s active races during his career. In his bid for a perfect season, Ampudia ran with the leaders’ superteams for a majority of the race as a solo driver, proving his mettle as one of the toughest drivers in the sport.
Ampudia was far from the only SCORE champion to be celebrating on King Shocks in Ensenada as the checkered flag fell. Sam Baldi locked up the SCORE Trophy Truck 2WD title for King thanks to a class win, completing a consistent season that saw him finish in the top five in all four races. Meanwhile, Gustavo Vildosola Sr. completed his fourth consecutive perfect season in the SCORE Trophy Truck Legends division, defeating his closest competition by nearly half an hour.
In Trophy Truck Spec, Justin Davis sealed the class championship thanks to three podiums on the season, while Brent Fox wrapped up the season with another class victory for King after coming in at an impressive sixth place overall. Rounding out the successes were a Class 1 win for Brendan Gaughan and a pair of podiums for Brad Wilson and Cody Reid; Reid and Wilson also took the top two spots in the class standings on the season, with Reid clinching his third championship in a row.
King Shocks also posted perfect seasons in both the Class 7 and Class 5 Unlimited divisions. In Class 7, it was Dan Chamlee taking his third victory of the season to secure the class title, with Baja 500 winner Rhys Millen coming in second to finish the third King Shocks 1-2 in class on the season. In Class 5 Unlimited, Eli Yee went four-for-four on the campaign; after winning the first three races of the 2024 season, he returned to defend his title with a perfect season this time around.
Also earning Baja 1000 victories and SCORE class titles were Stan Potter in Class 10, Daniel Goodrich in Class ½-1600, Chris Somano in Class 5-1600, and Dan Gregory in 1400 Sportsman Truck. For Goodrich, it was his second class win and third podium of 2025, while Potter’s win was his second straight podium finish.
The SCORE titles complete another successful season for King Shocks across the desert. Ampudia, Baldi, Vildosola, and Davis join UNLTD Off-Road Racing champions Adam Householder (overall and Unlimited Truck) and Conner McMullen (Unlimited Truck SPEC) as those to take the highest honors in their respective series and classes with King in 2025.
“A huge congratulations to all of the King Shocks racers who excelled at this year’s Baja 1000 and across the entire SCORE season, and especially to Alan Ampudia for defending his title as SCORE Trophy Truck champion,” said King Shocks president Brett King. “2025 was a fantastic year for our racers with so many wins and titles, and we’re thrilled to have swept the season in more than one class. We can’t wait to get back after it in 2026!”
Racing, prerunning or just having fun, whatever your application; King Shocks has the shock for you with the performance, reliability, precise tuning and adjustability you need. King Shocks, The Leader in Off-Road Technology!

#CORR: The Chase for the Championship Begins – CORR Readies for Firebird Doubleheader on December 12-14

After a strong season debut at Firebird Motorsports Park in October, Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) returns to action at its flagship Arizona venue on December 12-14. With three full days of on-track excitement, early registration discounts, and new low ticket prices, there’s no better way to ring in the holiday season for racers and race fans alike.
Race Registration | Season Membership | General Admission
Tickets for Rounds 3 and 4 are on sale now at new low prices. Single-day admission is $20, while a weekend pass covering all three days is $35 (kids 5 and under free). In addition, spectator camping is available for $20 on Saturday and $35 for the weekend.
Racer registration is also open now. Early registrations can enter the code FALL2025 at checkout to receive $50 off class entry, one pit/camping pass, and one weekend general admission pass—a total of $150 in savings!
Prior to race week, fans will have plenty of opportunities to get familiar with CORR:
- Highlights from last month’s season opener at Firebird will air on RACER Network on Monday nights in December. Round 1 highlights will air on Monday, December 1 at 7PM PT, and Round 2 highlights will air on Monday, December 8 at 7PM PT.
- CORR will have an on-site presence at Rugged Radios Dirt Expo, coming to Westworld of Scottsdale on December 5-7. Cars from Mia Chapman, John Holtger, Carson Greco, and Wade Wyman will all be on display. Show hours are 3PM-8PM Friday, 9AM-6PM Saturday, and 9AM-4PM Sunday, and admission is $19.99 per day (kids 12 and under free).
The season opener set the tone for an exciting season to come, with dramatic finishes all weekend long and only a handful of drivers able to sweep both rounds of the doubleheader. Chapman and Greco were two of the racers who managed to go back-to-back, while front-runners like Ryder VanBeekum, Chase Carr, and Ryder Chapman would also establish themselves as names to beat among the healthy Pro fields.
The series attracted first-time entries from Carr, Beau Judge, Jeremiah Wagner, and Kolton Krajicek, and it also kicked off its first Pro Lite championship. Holtger, the Midwest champion this year, will make his CORR season debut in December, joining Michael Funk, who filled in for him at the opener and is among those returning for the next event.
The 2025-26 CORR season is set to be the biggest in series history, with free live streaming coverage of all rounds on the RACER+ app, YouTube, Facebook, and Rumble joined by 10 one-hour recap shows on the RACER Network. Jim Beaver and Tiffany Stone will have the call of the action all season long.
