Off-road champion Johnny Holtger will make his return to rallycross with RallyX Americas for the 2026 season, driving the One Ethanol First Corner FC2 in the Supercar class. Holtger will make his debut in the season opener at Crandon International Raceway on June 19-21, pulling double duty with his Pro 2 truck in Championship Off-Road for the weekend.
“I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to get back into a rally car, especially the FC2,” said Holtger. “I feel the FC2 fits my driving style perfectly. I’m also excited to race RallyX at Crandon while racing my Pro 2 truck. I grew up racing at Crandon, and if 10 year old me would know I’m racing a rally car there I think little me would be star struck.”
Holtger has excelled across numerous racing disciplines, not only including short course off-road racing but also extending into past rallycross experience and even asphalt late models. Working his way up the short course ranks, he won back-to-back championships in Mod Kart in 2018 and 2019, and he won his debut race in the Pro 2 class in 2022. But he’s been most dominant in a Pro Lite truck, where he won his first championship in 2020 and is currently the defending champion of the class in both Championship Off-Road and the CORR series.
Previously, Holtger made his rallycross debut at ERX Motor Park in 2021, finishing third in his debut race in a Supercar Lites car for Dreyer & Reinbold Racing. He also drove the First Corner FC1 in RallyX Americas preseason testing in Orlando this winter prior to joining the FC2 class.
