Tommi Hallman earned his first career RallyX Americas Hypercar victory with a dramatic last lap pass over Kevin Eriksson, while Lukas Andersson took his second Supercar podium of the day and first victory, on Sunday afternoon from Crandon International Raceway. Their wins ensured that RallyX Americas would hand out its four first place trophies to four different drivers from three countries on its debut event, showcasing the diversity of talent and depth of the fields that have immediately proven a hallmark of the championship.

Recaps of all finals are as follows:

Supercar Semifinals

Andersson led from start to finish in the first Supercar semifinal, but who would survive behind him was anyone’s guess. Mitchell deJong charged from last on the grid to third early on, but Gray Leadbetter would successfully defend her second position initially and shuffle back into it when deJong suffered mechanical issues. After winning the first B final earlier in the day, Romet Tsirna would claim the final transfer spot in spite of a flat tire.

In the second semifinal, Tyler Leach would bounce back from a DNF in the first A final to claim the victory, withstanding pressure from Simon Olofsson in the late stages to take the victory. The final transfer spot to the A main came down to attrition: Banks Hovey would have an incident in Ponsse Turn Two, while Johnny Holtger would suffer a tire issue of his own, but Holtger had enough of a gap to hang onto the last transfer spot, becoming the eighth different driver to make an A final on the weekend.

Hypercar Semifinals

Larsson and Henderson would once again establish themselves as the top two drivers off the line, but Oliver Eriksson would keep the pressure on Henderson all race long, allowing Larsson to pull out a gap. That trio would cleanly transfer through to the A final, while Mitchell deJong would eventually work his way around Lia Block for the front row spot in the B final after Block bumped the Joker exit marker when both drivers took it.

The second semifinal would see a spectacular rollover for Timmy Hansen, who made contact with Kevin Eriksson launching into the Sky Box Straight and rolled three times before settling to a stop. Fortunately, Hansen would exit the car quickly under his own power. Tommi Hallman would take the win after the restart over Eriksson, while Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky would make her first final.

Supercar A Final

Andersson pounced out to a commanding lead early over Olofsson, but on the second lap Olofsson would suffer an incident that would take him and Tsirna out of winning contention. In the chaos, Gray Leadbetter would slot into second, but John Holtger would soon make his way around for second and the early-Jokering Tyler Leach would later take third from her. Andersson and Holtger would Joker on the final lap, coming to the line with a 1-2 in the One Ethanol cars.

Hypercar A Final

Henderson took advantage of a great start to pull equal with Larsson and Hallman off the line, but Kevin Eriksson would find his way through the chaos and take an early lead. Larsson would spin in front of Oliver Eriksson, taking both out of winning contention, although both continued. Henderson would take an early Joker to try and get clean air, but he slid wide, opening the door for Hallman to climb to second.

Hallman would then set his sights on catching Eriksson. Reeling in the gap lap by lap, he pulled to within a few car lengths of Eriksson after Eriksson Jokered on the final lap, made side by side contact in Calamity Corner, and crossed the finish line in front of Eriksson by just .097 seconds—leading only the final corner of the race.
